Taking over Roundhouse throughout June, The Last Word Festival is back for its brilliant eleventh edition. Being one of the best festivals for championing exciting voices and emerging talent in the world of spoken word, this year there’ll be poetry slam heats, where 18-25-year-olds can compete for a cash prize, and a session called ‘redacted’ where poems are created by removing words from articles, chapters or magazines, plus much, much more.
Camberwell Arts Festival
Celebrating three decades of artistic excellence, showcasing the vibrant talents of our local artists & makers. The festival promises an eclectic mix of open studios, arts markets, exhibitions, workshops and commissions designed to inspire, entertain and engage audiences of all ages.

Cream Shearling Bib

Taste of London
12th - 16th June
Eat your way through dishes from the great and the good of London’s restaurant scene at Taste of London. Set in Regent’s Park you can munch down on food from Korean restaurant Roka, South American fusion from YOPO and Big Mamma’s quintet of maximalist Italian joints are among the line-up of restaurants here to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
Mayfair Lavender Fields
1 Carshalton Road, Banstead, Surrey
Family run, organic lavender field in Surrey, just south of London is perfect in the summer months. A blanket of purple, bring your camera and walk through the fields, and after enjoy the farm shop! Reopening on 15th June.
